Jill Olesker is a storyteller, teacher, environmental arts educator and tea party enthusiast.

She started out as a kindergarten teacher 35 years ago. She always carried her love of theater and writing into her classroom. Then, she found her way to opening the door for children and adults to use their imaginations through hearing stories and shaping their own stories inspired by their experiences in the natural world. She has been doing that work for many years now.  Most recently, she has become involved with an oral history project in Woodstock NY, started a tea party business integrating teatime, stories and crafts for children and travelingto St. John, US Virgin Islands to do arts projects with children once a year. She is creating a children's radio show with Susan Penick on Catskill Community Radio that will be starting soon!  Each of these has its own story as to how they happened but she loves doing them all!

Jill live in Woodstock, NY with her son, a college student, in a cottage in the woods. She loves her mountain home and also loves to see new places.
